When I switched to MIG for my sculpture, I noticed the wire choice made a huge difference in both the finish and the ease of use. I initially used a standard.030 wire, but switching to a slightly larger.035 improved my bead consistency. I’d recommend experimenting with different metals, particularly for art pieces, as it really enhances the depth. Have you tried any other materials or settings that worked well? @weldingwizard has some good insights on this.
