Blueprint Welding Technician

What You’ll Do

Read and interpret blueprints and technical plans to lay out welds and assemblies.

Perform GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding to production-quality standards.

Grind, gouge, and inspect welds; verify dimensions and tolerances.

Operate overhead cranes and support rigging for parts and assemblies.

Follow shop safety procedures and maintain quality in accordance with AWS D1.1 and AWWA D100.
